Bay Area: Daily Driven Height

i'm considering slamming my car soon (no fender/wheel gap), but i'm afraid i'll be scraping everywhere. i mostly drive around dublin and union city/fremont.

what are you most comfortable with?

Re: Bay Area: Daily Driven Height (korean)

u should be ok in union city and fremont, as for 238, just be cautious and you should be able to dump your ride https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Re: Bay Area: Daily Driven Height (mycord)

well...i had my ride dumped on the other side of the bay (SF side)...and couldn't stand it sometimes...i guess it depends on how much you can handle.

DUMPED looks best, tho, in my opinion.

KOREAN 06-07-2005 11:20 PM

Re: Bay Area: Daily Driven Height (patastinky)

bad news eric, i got a ticket for $351, which was pretty much the money i was going to spend on my drop. so i guess my drop will be postponed. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emthdown.gif

Re: Bay Area: Daily Driven Height (patastinky)

good point. i don't wanna get pulled over for riding slammed.

reverie 06-07-2005 11:30 PM

Re: Bay Area: Daily Driven Height (korean)

First off, the slammed look isn't my taste but that's a preference thing. I wouldn't do it for that.

But other than that, it would be a bitch getting around. It probably won't be too much of a problem where you live, but you gotta remember about speed bumps and other unusual things in the road. I'm dropped a couple inches on SportLines and sometimes it feels too low.

Re: Bay Area: Daily Driven Height (reverie)

U won't be ticketed for being too low unless the cop is a real dick.

youll be fine.. just gotta drive real cautiously https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

B00STidDc5 06-08-2005 01:20 AM

my dc5 is slammed. i live in frisco and i drive all over the bay. i guess i can just handle the harsher ride, plus its not too bad, the teins handle it very well. my suggestion is to get a setup thats adjustable so u can raise and lower it to ur preference and maybe even a setup up wuth dampening so u can fuck with the stiffness of yo ride!!!
