Its spelled VTEC.

And yes you can put the F22B1 vtec motor to replace the F22B2 or you can use the B1 vtec head on your B2. You must change the ecu to have vtec.

Sure you can swap the engine, they are bolted in the exact same way. However you won't have VTEC without the proper, F22B1 or chipped and tuned OBD1, VTEC ECU.

yes you can put a vtec motor in a non vtec vehicle, and yes you dont need to switch the ECU, you just gotta run your solenoid off of a switch, which is a little ghetto in my opinion, but its do able.

VTEC is more than just a cam profile switch. The fuel and timing maps change as well. You're an idiot, don't post.

A little Ghetto, more like a huge waste of time! I strongly advise against doing it. The fuel maps are not meant for it......Unless you like running lean & burning pistons!

Sell your non VTEC ECU and buy a VTEC ECU, it's not like they aren't readily available. I can pick one up around my area for around $50-$100.

You know, it's sad, I actually met a guy with a CRX that swapped in some random VTEC motor (D-series I guess?) and had a 'VTEC' switch.
