Upper control arm ball joint
My upper control arm ball joint seems to be bad. Do I have to buy a new upper control arm or is it possible to just replace the ball joint? Thanks in advance.

Re: Upper control arm ball joint (bagged93accord)
hmmm... thats weird? When i just recently had my problem with the lower balljiont basically falling off. i went and bought other ball jionts that needed attention. and well the place that was doing the labor said I had to buy the upper control arm and the ball jiont already assembled? I'm guessing the company Moog only sells them connected.
im sure if i didnt have to buy the upper control arm. it would have been muccch cheaper.

What sort of a job is it to replace the rear upper control arm ball joints?
It looks easy, but ... and experience, comments, advise is appreciated

The UPPER Balljoint and upper control arm is one piece, you cannot take just the balljoint off like you can with the lower balljoint.
in other word, you have to get a new upper control arm, which cost around 100bucks in honda
Trust me on this one, i had done a couple before, none of them can be pressed out

Since you cannot press it out, everything is going to be bolt on's, no special tool needed really.
jack, jackstand, socket rachet, torque wrench and be sure to use a new cotton pin
