Special Tool/Procedure for install Rear Exterior Door Handle 1998 Accord
I have the Haynes manual, and have taken apart the door panel numerous times. Now to get to the point I have a 1998 Accord 4dr lx. The rear passenger side exterior door handle broke somehow (still attached and pulls, just doesn't feel like anything is attached). I have a new door handle painted ready to install.
The Problem
I take off the interior door panel, and i can't see anyway to get a ratchet or screwdriver in there to release the bolts holding the handle in there. Is there a special tool to get this job done? Maybe a procedure, take off something else too?
Final Note:
Approx how much would a body shop charge if i had the interior door panel removed and they just had to remove the two bolts for me and put the new door handle in?
-Thanks
Paul

Re: (JOScb7)
yes I got as far as peeling back the moisture plastic, but the access holes are so small, i can't get enough space to work, just thought there was an easier way

Re: (ptamarin)
Just wanted to post for anyone else having to replace the door handle, you have to remove the lock mech. which is the three screws on the door jamb. one screw you can reach with an extension on your rachet when you take off the door panel, the other you need to remove the three screws and slide down the lock mech. and reach through the hole with your extension.
