Please help diagnose this problem for me

Default Please help diagnose this problem for me

i just found out today that my car gives heat no matter where the temperature dial points to. i set it to the lowest temp on the dial and it still blowing out warm air instead of cool which it suppose to. does that mean my thermostat is not working anymore?

no, because when i turn it to the coldest it blows warm air and when i turn it to the hottest it blows very hot air.

Can you feel the **** or control actually adjusting when you turn the ****?

First thing I would look at is that and the climate control center and make sure the control is hooked up. Next vacuum lines.

Are you trying to turn your a/c on and its blowing hot air or just your fan?

Did you pull it off and take a close look at it?

Do you feel any resistance when turning the ****? if not then the cable controling the heater hose valve is broken or loose. If that is not the case, check the heater inlet hose valve.

i just got done taking it apart and look at it. everything is fine, the **** still moves the cable and i look at the engine and the cable still move that **** that's about a feet below the air intake.

Is it moving the heater valve through it's full range?
