PGMFI help
i have a 89 accord LXI i picked up for cheap it was running fine a week ago but one day i jumped in it and it just would not start. it turns over fine and i have narrowed the problem down to a lack of fuel pressure at the rail. the situation as it stands now is that it will start and run fine about half of the time, the other half it just spins but never fires up. the times that it does not start the fuel pump does not prime and there is no power to circut at the pump, so i replaced the main fuel pump relay assembly and it had no effect. im thinking it could be the ignition switch since the thing has 260k on it and the problem is intermittent, but i was hoping to get some other oppinions before i go about tearing apart the steering column. any takers?

I'd say that the ignition switch could be bad after all those years. but I'd want to prove the ignition switch isn't sending power to the main relay. A correct and accurate diagnose can save you $100 worth of parts and is worth the time.
