Oil leaking bad on turbo'd f22b2
Ok guys i think i have a number of seals failing if not gone.
I could see oil pouring down the tranny casing and there is a small pool of it on top of the auto tranny where the starter sits and all. I was told its the rear main so i went and bought that seal just in case. I looked and there's no oil coming from the distributor or valve cover seals.
THe underside and back of the engine are covered in oil, I burn oil when the car is running. Even in idle. It made me think the oil pressure sender has come loose so i bought an oil filter adapter from glowshift. Haven't installed yet. The oil pan is covered in oil and dripping off the oil pan. I also went and bought gaskets for the oil pan and valve cover.
Before i go on a rampage and tear this thing apart. Suggestions? I looked to see if its the rear main but the torque converter and all that is dry. Everywhere else on the underside of my car is soaked in oil. No one around here does pressure/steam cleaning on engines so i think im screwed there. But i can't boost at all otherwise all my oil goes out the window and the idiot light will kick on.
I've stopped driving it pending some suggestions before i get pissed and rip this whole thing out

did u check your drain line that runs back into the oil pan or maybe see if your turbo is leaking oil between the housings

Yes the oil return line is the only line on the car clean at the moment lol. also that wouldnt explain the entire back of the motor being coated in oil becuase my turbo sits in the front.

I was thinking that was part of the problem as well. Do those back themselves out or wear out over time?
And there is oil leaking from the front of the engine. I am assuming from the oil pan gasket. Has anyone else had experience with the pressure buildup from being into boost blowing these things out?
