Default o2 heater coed on 97 lx

so I have my check engien light flashing up, and the coed it sent was the primary o2 heater. this happened right after I put in a walbro 255lph pump. I went under the car tested the heater ristance on the primary 02 wires, and instead of it being 10-40 ohms, it was 1784ohms. I checked the main realy, and it was good. I had also just replaced that o2 sens. does anyone have any clue what might be going on?

so I was thinking this over and over, do any of you think a wide band o2 would take care of this?

well the obvious signs point you towards a bad 02 sensor, the heater is not in spec, putting in a wideband 02 would not solve your problem as you wouldnt be able to make it connect and the ecu wouldn't be able to read it

thats what I get for getting the $80 bosch universail o2. I gusse down to hoinda then for the $300 unless anyone knows a cheeper rout of getting one. I still also think it is odd that it would work fine until I replaced the fuel pump, but I know this stuf happens. any who thanks

Are there any parts stores around that sell a bosch or denso 02 with an OE connector? maybe try online, try not to go for ones that require you to cut and crimp, $300 seems a little steep
