New Master Cylinder.. Same Old Problem
Yes I've searched... and from searching it seemed as though my master cylinder had gone bad.
Symptom: bleed brakes, all four corners,.. hard as a rock
Start Car, pedal sinks to the floor, no pressure.
Turn car off, repump brakes, hard as a rock...
I replaced the master cylinder and have bled all 4 corners like 20 times...
what am i missing?

Stop it with the slave cylinder will you ???
Did you bench bleed the master before you installed it ??
If so,, you might have a bad master cylinder.. did you use a Honda part ??
if no leaks , you bench bled it, bled system correctly,, you might want to exchange the master cylinder ,,

sony my friend slave cylinder has nothing to do with brake system,,
it is to do with a hydraulic clutch system

Yes I did bench bleed it, no it's not an OEM honda, it's an aftermarket from Napa.. I will exchange it tomorrow

You'll probably have to re bleed your entire system again won't you? The air probably traveled into your lines.

i had all 4 calipers off the car, the car sat for a year and the brakes were rusted so i took everything off cleaned it up, replaced the rear rotors and pads and cleaned up the fronts so it's no big deal to rebleed the whole system

just a tip, check the caliper slides while you have the calipers off if you havent already repack them if they have never been done. not saying this is the prob though.

just a recommendation ... get some nails disconnect the lines from master cyl the nails must fit inside the brake lines... cut nails about 1/4 inch from head .... insert one nail on each line connect lines back to cylinder and tighten lines , depress pedal should be rock hard , if it is, your cylinder is good if it still goes down cylinder no good ... hope it helps
