Well, it's a long story but to keep it short, a bracket under my driver's seat snapped at the rivets that hold it on, which is causing the front left corner to pull up, which in turn causes my whole seat to rock back when I accelerate. Honda does not sell this piece individually only the whole assembly under the seat for $800!!

I have acquired some new seats from a junkyard (they would only sell me the front pair), but when they arrived, they are out of a four door model, I have a two door. The brackets that bolt to the floor are dfferent between the models, leaving me stuck with two seats that won't fit and one broken driver's seat.

Has anyone ever done this type of seat swap, or can anyone give me some advice as to how I might go about getting the four door seats into my two door. My car is a 98 two door Accord, while the junk yard seats are from a 98 Four door. Any help is appreciated. Thanks,
