Need confirmation! Alpine 6 disc will work with factory head unit in 92 Accord EX-R?
Hello,
I have a 92' Accord EX-R with the factory stereo.
I recently purchased an Alpine 6 disc CD changer (CHM-S620) with FM modulator.
I have been using the changer with the FM modulator but read a review that states Honda head units from the 90's can be connected directly to Alpine 6 disc changers.
I was hoping that someone on this board could confirm this before I attempt to change it.
Here's the link:

Thanks,
Zak

yank out the radio from the dash
there should be 2 screw in the back holding it
on the back of the radio, there is a plug, pull it out
and connect the cable from the cd changer to where you pull the plug out from.
and that should work.

Thanks for responding!
Will I need a different cable or connector or should the one that came with FM mod be suitable?
I wish the installer would have installed it directly!
He ran the FM controller through my console which seperated the plastic, he then buggered up my glove compartment by placing the tuner block behind the door...
