My 90 accord squeels when turning wheel while at complete stop
Please help im desperate!!!! I have a 1990 accord lx with about 166k miles on it. I just replaced the power steering belt because my altenator belt shredded and tangled with it.
Today I noticed that while at a complete stop and I cut my wheel to either the left or right it makes a squealing sound and the only way to explain what I'm hearing is to compare it to ur tires squeeling after stopping too fast.
I have no idea what to do. Can you honda experts give me some advice!?

Sounds like the belt is too loose and it's slipping.
The way to test a belt tension is to find the longest side, then find the middle of that side and try to twist it with your fingers. It shouldn't twist more thn 90 degrees. If it does, it's too loose.
Tighten the belt up and you should be good to go.
