MAF sensor? intake options
I was thinking of upgrading the intake in my car but have run into a problem. My car has a MAF sensor on the intake. all of the intakes ive seen for sale for my generation are for "without MAF sensor". what is a MAF sensor, what is the deal with modifing am aftermarket intake to use the maf sensor. i was thinking i could cut a hole in the pipe or something. any thoughts on this?

There is nothing wrong with the stock intake. You will not gain anything with aftermarket crap. Do people enjoy changing the oil in their air filter? Sorry. Just an opinion. I had to get it out. Don't know why I chose you.

Re: MAF sensor? intake options (remo)
I had Injen Air Intake in my Accord, sure gave me little high end power, but cost of Fuel, because when computer see more Air, computer push more gas and while emptying my wallet. So I remove da thing and put the stock intake back.

THe pipes for cars w/o MAF's are probably one piece intakes. Two piece intakes go before and after MAF. Somtimes MAF"s can fail with adding more air with a CAI especially with an over oiled K&N filter
