intake question

intake question
someone earlier from h-t told me that the difference between ebay intake and aem intake is actually noticable...anybody else agree? Also, i'm plannin to get the cai instead of the v2 cuz that's a rip...den gonna replace the filter wit apexi power filter, good idea? Please drop ur 2 cents everyone

The dimensions and measurements are what make an intake effective, not what name is stickered onto the piping....butt dynos are something one should not refer to for information on a product.

i think between every intake there is still a difference. my old akimoto intake was 3 inch and the throttle response jumped from 3 to about 5k-redline. but my aem intake (2.5 inch) is a lot smoother and just climbs steadily from 3 to redline. There are differences, but for the most part those guys are right... its quite minimal. The biggest difference I felt was just the smoothness/transition during WOT.

yeah there are differences but we are talking just a few ponies here. what does it matter if you have 123 whp or 125? its still a terd. i do agree though most intake systems do differ

a'pexi filters let in soooo much air, but i wouldnt recomend for a CAI, cause they dont filter too well (not designed for daily driver application)
