Ideas for the CD5
Hey guys.
I'm looking for ideas for more performance mods for my '97 Cd5. I installed headers back in September and haven't done anything since. I'm looking to continue progress, but not looking to turbo it (at least not yet)
Mods list...
-Injen Intake
-Apexi N1 exhaust system
-DC Sports headers
Still rockin hubs though so im def. looking to upgrade there too. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Ideas for the CD5 (Ferarrikiller)
get sum intense suspension... I know it sounds dumb. suspension used to be one of my least concerns... I jus lowered it on sum crappy springs... but I've upgraded to tein ss full coilover kit with a adjustable dampers... n I love em... when you set them to stiff you gain so much torque cause you're car doesnt squat like it used to and it grabs so much harder... i had really bad struts like I was bouncing all over the place then I put those on it's like a night and day difference...
I had raced a crx with a gsr in it with full exaust, my accord has a stock h22a4 with only the tein ss on the rear set to their stiffest setting... I'm still rockin the accord tranny and stock accord exaust (that's robbin lots of my potential power) but I stayed right next to him the whole time... neither of us went past each other.. I was impressed...
with just the teins on the rear on the stiffest setting Im was staying up with a gsr crx with a full catback exaust...
so keep suspension in mind... and dont go cheap you get what you pay for trust me... do it right the 1st time

Unless you are going to go turbo or H22,I wouldn't waste a whole lot of money on "performance" mods on that car.You can spend a **** load of money and not get squat for gains.
If it were my car, with the mods you have done already,I would just upgrade the suspension and then just do things to tweak the appearance like a lip kit and some rims.
After having my 94 Accord for 2 years,I finally realized that building a 5th gen Accord for performance just isn't worth the money imo.

Re: Ideas for the CD5 (Zerophase)
Thanks for all your guys' opinions. Yea, suspension has crossed my mind, just need to do some research on it.
I have also been looking into Cams too.

I have a SOHC as well, new camshaft for performance and all.
If you are going to spend 300 or 500 bucks for a camshaft, like my friend did, and do not tune the car (another 200 to 300 bucks), you're not going to be happy.
Remember.... before you make your car "fast", you need to make it "safe", upgrade your suspension and brakes first. I see you already have a few mods, but i'd suggest going for suspension, because power without control equals no fun at all.
And another suggestion, coil overs that go for less than 60 dollars shipped, are not what you want to put on your car... hehehe
