IAT Sensor Location
So I'm looking up on locations for the IAT sensor cuz my readings are hotter than actual intake air temp. I suspect its the crankcase gases from the PCV as well as conduction from the manifold. Because I put the f23 manifold on my f22 the location has changed from where the f22 originally had it. I'm thinking about putting it in my intake pipe. Any ideas?
Some pages suggest that and others dont, some just explain it more for turbo applications or with cars with MAF sensors.
Could I relocate my PCV? There aren't many options for me but maybe theres another location.

Putting a catch can on will help the PCV issue, it'll take the vapor out of it and cool down the charge going through it.
I thought all the IAT's were on the back on the manifolds in either runner 2 or 3.

I did a test, the PCV is not causing the rise in temp as it did not change with the PCV unplugged.
I compared the intake temp to the manifold temp. anywhere from 30 to 50 degrees at the intake before the TB and then at the upper manifold it measures around 100.
The IAT sensor on the f22's is located behind the Upper IM approximately in the middle.
The f23 has it on the far right side. I swapped my f22 IM with an f23.
I wonder if there is thermal resistance from the wires being heated back there. But its not a lot of heat. The IM doesnt get hot enough that I cannot touch it. What would cause such a spike in temperature? Its not heat sink onto the sensor either. I tried using a cooler sensor.
After hooking up the sensor to the intake pipe, reading 30 degrees, the car performs a bit better. Although not as great as it should.
