okay so where is the best location for the IAT sensor..i know some models have moved it to the intake pipe so it doesnt get heat soaked by the manifold. and some older ones are located right on the #3 runner or on the manifold itself. which is more acurate?/ does it even matter..

 

What kind if climates is the vehicle going to be seeing ?
What intake manifold are you running ?

Put it on the intake pipe.

Depending on what tuning software your running if any, I know I run Neptune and it has compensation values for fuel/timing based on IAT and are calibrated to deal with the heat soak.
