Default I have ecu ?s

Ok I plan on putting a prelude ecu in my 92 accord f22a1 to get more hp and I'm wondering dose it matter if the prelude is a auto or manual?

What is your car? The ECU/TCU should match. And a non VTEC one would also be a must.

my f22a1 accord useing a f22a1 lude ecu to get like a 12 hp boost does it matter if the lude is auto or does it have to be a manual

like my accord is a 5 spd and the prelude is a auto would that ecu work on my accord

Will it work, sure. Will it be throwing A/T codes Yes. Your best bet would be to find a 5spd P12 ECU. Or if you know anything about soldering. You could try the A/T to Manual mod. OPen up the ECU and remove resistors rp17 and rp18, then replace rp18 with a jumper wire.This will convert the ecu to 5spd.

ok so would the auto ecu like mess something up or not run properly if i dont mod it like will it run the same as a manual ecu
