what the hell? did you forget to log off? you didn't make any sense.

14s in a sedan is more than possible with an h22 turbo setup, if you think you can't even get low 14s i suggest you research a hell of a lot more. don't spend any money until you do your research.

and just so you know my cb7 is a sedan and it has an h22 and a t3/t4 turbo. going to pick it up tommorow from the shop. i should be in the 11s.

Don't spend money you don't have on stuff that you don't need.

Well any ways..i their is a draw back like you know i do have a Kit....big mistake ..but nothing i can do about it...Im kinda Skeptical about the H swap alone in my car i think that will only get my down to the Low 15s...I want Low 14s without bulding the motor just yet..i have seen an H22 in an accord alone ANd i wasnt really 2 empressed with it thats why i was thinkin to get a turboed h.i mean my last car was a 96 m3 so im looking forsomethin on that level.

you can leave you f-series motor in your accord and turbo that and you'll be in the 14s easily.

hahahahhahaha

how you like it?

I got a s2000 but i still have the accord for daily

get a different chassis, even a b16/18 in a pos crx will be more fun than an accord with h22, but there;s always hardcore guys that sticks with one chassis, then good for you/him/her.

CL-S is whole different beast.........way more power, much better seats, loaded.....only thing missing is Navigation....but that I do not need.

power is impressive, accelleration is just amazing and unlike a 6th gen accord, this thing can spin tires just by giving the car 1/3 throttle

The idea of the H22 swap is good idea, but you figure you could prob. go on ebay and get a 240 w/ an engine swap already for prob. 2, or 3000 the most, weight out the option before making any decisions.

I don't think you should be borrowing money to work on your car. It doesn't make a lot of sense.

Sorry.

What he said a lot more better stuff you can do wit h6k rather than spend it on a car just to do low 14.

spend a small percentage of it on your car to make you happier with it, that is if you REALLY like your car and invest the rest, cd, mutual funds, whatever. or just save it for a rainy day. take my advice i know from $30,000 worth of experience on one car.. and then i lost it overnight and only got like 8 grand back and a lot of debt.. i am 27 now but i wasn't that smart at 20.. just trying to help not trying to bitch..

just think before you do abything at all. no matter how big or small.. you will be happier with your wise choices in the long run..

if you are hell bent on spending the 6k loan (which many have told you before is not very smart) on a car my suggestion to you would be to keep the car you have now and buy yourself a fox body mustang. drop a small block ford and nitrous and a few other upgrades and you have yourself a guaranteed 12 second car, possibly even faster for about 5k more or less. if all you care about is straight line acceleration which it appears you do.

keep your accord as a daily and have the fox as your fun car.

ha ha ha ....

I must say, the "guy" wants a loan to make his car faster. What mods do you have in your accord right now?!... an intake and crispy exhaust?! .... don't expect to beat m3's with that!!!
You already have a F22 in your car, now why would you want to put a H22 in there and theeeeen.... turbo that! Just turbo the f22, tune it and beat it, beat it, beat it... pass what the h22 could hold..... You need to do a research and think what's best for you first.
If the need for money is so great, get a second job or something just to make that extra money, when you have that "cash" in your hand, just pick the parts and get them installed.
If I were you, I would consider some "bolt-on's" to the accord, and possibly some mods to the engine itself.....cam, porting/polishing, ecu, springs/retainers, pistons.... and on and on and on...

OKay im not that dumb WHen it comes to **** i have Hks full.ext.. Aem v2 cold air ex hedders.. and a 150 shot...The main reason i was thinkin H22 because i really dont want to build a sohc....I know The f22 is a good motor but mine has been abused and abused.... And i do like to show my car sometimes. and in my opinion i think an h22 would look better under my hood...THe 6k loan im gettin is a grant from the gov. I might do some bolt ons to the f22 but is it really worth it? i rechered and people argue alot that h22 over f22 turbo...So i really cant get a more unified answer... as for the mustang... i had one i loved it then it got stolen so Im stay away from those....I sold the M3 Because of insurance reasons 431 a month Libailty 19yo in an m3 doesnt hellp....

Another reason i want a motor swap i just went to the track today im running low 16 with a 50shot.....

I just dont like to go straight i live to drive Grip to im all around but doesnt hellp when im slower than a crownvic....

Why are you getting a $6,000 grant from the government? And why are you going to take that money and spend it on a car?

Build three tower, up to date, PCs capable of viewing 12 monitors while utilizing one KVM, one mouse and one keyboard with a couple of terabytes of total memory. (some other stuff too)

Pretend you are better than that guy on Swordfish and be the first guy on your block to be the first real Matrix Operator like me.

How do I get another 6K to buy the monitors and the other half of the dual output video cards please.

i think there might be something wrong wiht your car if your hitting low 16s with a 50shot. u can hit that stock. waht kinda 60ft times were u getting and what did u trap at?

from the way u describe yourself, it sounds like you'd be happy with just an h22 swap, it's a night and day difference when you drop it in. but its not gonna turn your car into an evo killer either, so dont set ur expectations tooo high.

if you really like ur car, i'd just sink some cash into an h22, and see how you like it and go from there

F22 with mods, can haul some..... but if you want a DOHC to feel more confident when poping the hood, that's up to you. I personally think that f22 is a good stuff, even you are running more than 150k miles or so, doesn't mean that tomorrow the motor will be done. If you are serious about some HP, you would need to open the engine up and replace some parts anyway before installing some heavy duty ones.

An h22 + a Turbo + Misc Parts you'll need for 6k? That ***** not going to be realiable at all. You would be paying to destroy your car.

Now if you wanted to spend 10k on that, you would be happy, and you might have a realiable car.
