if you never replaced it .. replace it. Its on the right side of the engine in the plastic guard so you cant really see it

Just based on the year and mileage it's about due for another timing belt. Since you don't know when it was last done I wouldn't leave it to eyeballing it. The whole 7 years, ~80k miles thing is what I went by. And you're overdue on both. The timing belt should be preventative maintenance and not resultant maintenance (think I made this term up haha)
I'd suggest going the safe route and have the major service done along with fluids (coolant, brake, ps, abs, etc)

Yup, the visual inspection would not be good enough. Best bet is to do it. Could you possibly ask the owner you previously bought it from if he has done it or knows when it has been done?

resultant is a new word....so says themuffinman...now we need to get it added to websters......but yes you are overdue for a timing belt either way ....and whether you decide to tackle the job yourself(gonna guess not) or take it to a shop.....better get the following done:
water pump
head gasket
timing belts
tensioner
valve cover gaskets w/ spark plug grommets
power steering belt
alternator belt
would be a bad idea to have the intake manifold gasket done either (upper and lower)
all fluids as muffinman said
brake flush
pcv valve and fuel filter(whenever i do timing change i do these 2 as preventative as a rule of thumb)
if you treat your honda right it will run forever
