Help: Rims Deciosion (95 Accord)
hey there guys. so today i argued with my friend that Gold rims would look good on my other friend's White JDM 95 Accord, and he said bronze with polished face would look better.
so just want your decision on which one you think would look HOT on JDM 95 white Accord.

Re: Help: Rims Deciosion (95 Accord)
first off i would be more focused on the size becasue those look pretty small for an accord
if i had to chose between those two i would chose the one with the polished lip...but if your asking which one of those rims would look HOT on a accord it would be neither of those

Re: Help: Rims Deciosion (95 Accord)
As much as people love the term, I would by no means call that a JDM Accord.
- knock off fogs
- knock off Mugen grill
- pnp HIDs in reflector housing
And relatively everything else stock.
That said gold and bronze both look good against white cars, I myself am partial to white on white however.16" or 17" Is pretty good, I would stick with those diameters.

You have Walmart/AutoZone fog lights, probably ones with the red light up toggle switch wired directly to the battery.
You have Plug and Play HID's probably from DDM Tuning for a quality set, but probably a eBay or similar kit, in a reflector housing which glares up like crazy, probably no casper shields either.
I owned a genuine Mugen grill, yours is not the same, or anything close to it.
You have stock 94/95 Alloy wheels
You have red painted calipers with chipping paint
You *might* have Stanley clear corners, probably offbrand from eBay however
Stock turn signals
No sidemarkers
etc
I could go on, to say the vehicle is JDM is a stretch, I did not diss your car beyond that, however because of your response I figured I would go into a bit more detail.
*edit* And to elaborate, I was trying to be helpful and not a douche and just state your car is not 'JDM' as you describe, no reason to put it in and stress it. Essentially, your car is 99.9% USDM stock 94/95 Honda Accord
*edit2* I feel a little bad, I do not want you to get the impression that I am telling you how to build your car in any way. All I am doing is saying you should not use the term JDM to describe it. Posting your car in the Appearance/Cosmetic section as a JDM Accord and you will have your *** handed to you horribly by users. The car is a good platform to start with, I would recommend you do lots of research and comparisons prior to actually purchasing anything to make sure things will work and fit correctly. You should also save up and buy quality parts so you're not replacing things prematurely down the road.

Re: Help: Rims Deciosion (95 Accord)
Considering I had an H22A swapped '96 Accord for a few years with a multitude of legitimate JDM/OEM/quality parts I think I am qualified enough to make that determination.

You still saying the same thing you said earlier, i think u didn't get what i was trying to say.
now lets come to the parts that you were talking about. did i say i have Mugen grill or JDM fog lights or what ever you think is not JDM on the car, did i say anything about that ??? let me tell you this , do not ever think that a certain car you see with the stock lights, lips, rims or what ever, is stock.
all I wanted is your decision on the rims not on what my car is. its a PURE JDM IMPORTED Accord. H22a Rebuilt Engine (just finished the project a few weeks ago).now working on the BODY.

You are missing key elements present on a actual Japanese market Accord. I think you're taking the fact it was built in Japan and shipped overseas as a sign it was imported? I'll sit tight while you show some pictures of the build and interior. I love me some RHD Accords.

Re: Help: Rims Deciosion (95 Accord)
im raising the BS flag....that looks nothing like a pure jdm imported car....it looks like...wait i take that back, IT IS a bunch of ebay/pepboy special junk that you have on your car....theres not one thing JDM about your car...and even if you are trying to pull the "yea its a usdm car but it was built in japan" card your still wrong because the plant that built all of those accords is located here in the US

All I was wanting to see was the engine bay and RHD/JDM interior
*edit*
Assuming http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGosw...layer_embedded is you, while there is no actual motor information the steering column is definitely LHD.
You have an H22A swapped USDM Accord with minimal mods. Nothing to be ashamed of, but not JDM.
I also feel inclined to remind you street racing is illegal and not cool

So you have nothing to back up your claims?

You are definitely not scoring any points in your favor at this point so please drop the attitude. TheMuffinMan (who did own the car he claims to) gave you some criticism that was intended to be helpful, you got defensive, he called you out (with valid proof), just let it go and take the lessons hopefully learned.
No one is truly here to insult your car or yourself. You are just hurting your chances of being helped in the future.
To answer the question:
I like the wheel design. I wouldn't choose it for my car, but they look pretty nice. The only thing I'm thinking is that they might not look quite as good once you get them on the car... sometimes that happens with wheels.
What size(s) are you looking at? I'd just be afraid with how much the spokes stick out they might look a bit odd. If you used a tire with a profile around at least 45 or 50 that might help.
Then again I keep picturing them on my 6th gen out of habit. I would definitely think they'd look better on your 5th gen.
