HELP! fuel pump keeps running and more
95 accord ex with 94 accord lx motor
i needed a new motor and swapped in a 94 lx motor... i am using a 97 lx harness, 94 lx dizzy and 94 lx ecu.. the ecu and harness were previously on another lx motor i just blew.. but it was a 97
i pulled the old motor and swapped the harness to the new motor and droppped the new motor in.. the car wouldnt start at first but that was cuz i was using the 97 dizzy which doesnt have the tdc and cyp sensors.. i now have the right dizzy and wired it to work but it still wont start
BUT MY BIG problem and the major issue is that the fuel pump keeps running with the key in the ON position.. the cel stays on solid and i CANNOT pull any codes...
i have tried three good main relays and same issue.. if i unplug the main relay with the key ON my fan comes on... i am pretty sure i have a ground or short bad somewhere but can anyone point me in the right direction?
the old motor went bad due to overheating and i am pretty sure it damaged my coil cuz i have no spark and the coil gets very very hot when the key is in the ON position..
its mine and my wifes only vehicle at this point and i really really need this fixed..
so lets start brainstorming!!!! thanks

lotta unanswered questions...but for starters you didn't explain why you're not using the 95 harness...no point at all swapping harnesses,,especially to an obd2 harness in the 97...you'll just have a couple extra connectors laying around if you kept the 95 harness...no big deal
i assume you're using a obd2 to obd1 subharness right now? if so, you will need to swap pins A6 and A11

in 94-97 accords as long as you are using the same year motor and harness together it will plug into the CHASSIS ecu and run.... how do i know??? this accord has had 4 motors in it since 06 when i bought it..
its a 95 ex and the last motor in it was a 97 lx motor with 97 harness etc and it plugged right in at the strut tower harnesses.. NO WIRING CHANGES OR SUBHARNESSES needed..
so now since the 97 motor blew i went and got a 94 lx motor and put the 97 harness back on and also got a 94 dizzy.... mind you i have been running 95 lx ecus all along... so with the 94 motor/dizzy and 97 harness all i had to do was wire TDC and CKP sensors....
only thing is my damn fuel pump keeps running and i have no spark...
ok, wheni unplug my main relay with key switched to ON my fan comes on and the whining of the fuel pump changes..... ive swapped out coil, dizzy, ecu and in jector resistor box and same shat...
fuel pump stays running while key is on and NO SPARK STILL... i do have power at coil but nothing past that...im lost and ready to part this ****** out... any ideas at all cuz im about out.... ive gone thru my manual and tested everything related and im stuck

lol this kid. comes for help but when someone does, they are wrong, if you are so pro why did you come here in the first place? no way are you going to get that car running in a 94-95 chassis with an obd2 harness without a sub harness for the obd1 ecu. i have a feeling you are trying to troll us.
