Help - drivers side window on 1995 Accord EX
Hello - I need some problem solving from the experts!!! I have a 95 Accord EX, 4 door. The drivers side front window will not work - the other 3 do. When I try and put the window down, I can sense that their is juice there because the lights dim a little but the window will not go up or down.
Do you think it is a fuse, regulartor/motor or switch?? I am kind of handy so if it is a motor/regulator is this something that is easy to fix?
Thx for your help (first time poster!!)

Hmmmm............ do you hear the motor at least whinning?
I would say this, check the fuse first. If the fuse is good, i would take out the window motor regulator assembly and grease/lubricate that thing.
Try again, and if it still doesn't work, you might need a new assembly?
BTW clean ur window tracks and grease them with silicone spray.

Nope - makes no noise at all.
Thx for the input! Just out of curiosity, if I have to replace the motor/regulator, is that somehting one person can do? I would hate to take the door paneling off and get my self in a pickle.
Thx Again!

No, it's not definitely the motor. It's either the motor, or you have a bad control switch for your power windows. Take out the switch and make sure it's clean before you go to the work of replacing the window motor and regulator.
I replaced my window motor to no avail, it ended up being a bad switch. So I have an extra driver's side motor and regulator if you want it.
As far as replacing the motor and regulator, you can do it yourself no problem, I did. The only thing to be careful with is when you unbolt the regulator make sure you have ahold of the window. I just pulled the window out, replaced the motor and regulator, and then stuck the window back in and bolted the regulator on. Took maybe an hour.
