help with codes
I just bought the car and pulled the codes 45 lean too rich, 61 primary o2, and 71-74 misfire. I though bad or but I was looking around and found that the aem camgear is retarded 10 degrees could this be the problem or is my o2 shot

Re: help with codes (212crxtuner)
What is the make model year of the car?
Are there any mods that would require retarding the timing an extra 10 degrees? If it's running stock internals and a stock ECU retarding the cam gear 10 deg could cause some problems. As the car would be running at a base idle of 5 degrees when it should be at 15 deg. (F22 specs)
Need to know a bit more about your setup to know for sure though....

Re: help with codes (GhostAccord)
Its a 97 ex vtec with dc headers, cold air, and a aem camgear I set the gear back to 0 and rest the ecu and the ce light cam back on and it still misfires under load could a plugged cat cause this or just an o2 sensor

How does the car run under load? If you finding that it hesitates and has a big lack of power under load then it could be the cat. If it doesn't seem like there are any major drive ability issues than I would look at the O2 sensor as a fault.

Re: help with codes (GhostAccord)
you pretty much have to baby the gas petal while driving if you try to accelerate too fast it misfires then I take my foot off the gas and it kicks back in again. I just got the car I traded my tsi for it. so I'm just trying to work the bugs out. I have a aem wide band not installed if i install it can I run the analog out put to the ecu and bypass the stock o2.

Yes. Just remove the stock O2 all together. As long as you run the sensor heater wires and signal wires from the ECU to the wide band your good to go.

Re: help with codes (GhostAccord)
I've been searching for days on many forums but I can't find the the right ecu pin out for my car. the only info I got was that the o2 wire is white but there is 2 white wires on my ecu. I cant run the heater wires to the wideband so i will just zip tie to stock o2 some where that i cant burn anything is that ok.

There could be 3 white wires coming from your ECU. D7 is the one you should be looking for.
D7 = PHO2S (Primary Heated O2 Sensor Signal)
C12 = CKP Ground
C25 = VS+ (VS Cell Voltage)
What colours are the 4 wires on the Bosch sensor?
Here is how the stock O2 is colour coded.
