Help: 2002 Accord Parking Brake Stuck
I just pulled the car up into the driveway, which is on a slight incline. Now my parking brake seems stuck. The handle seems very loose up to the point I pull the parking brake all the way up, and it is not disengaging the rear drums. Is there any way to fix this in my driveway, or will I have to have the car flatbedded to a mechanic. I am trying to fix this before tonights storm.
Few things to add: A)The brake light is not on, but the parking brake is clearly engaged. B) If I lift the parking brake handle a little bit, the brake light goes on in the instrument cluster C) I opened the trap door in the arm rest and the cables move when I engage and disengage the brakes. I drove the car around the block, and it seems to have loosened up the brakes a bit, but there is a burning smell (probably from the brakes being stuck).
