Default has anyone seafoamed there accord?

i was reading in my tacoma forum about seafoam.anybody tried it in there car? my accord is at 168xxx and it idles rough. full tune up has been done and it still shakes after it gets warmed up. im guessing it can be the timing belt or dirty air/ fuel system. i might try the seafoam soon, but was wondering if anyone has done it here and any advice as to how to do it properly. thanx fellas

I used it for the first time about a month ago in my '98 Accord with 170k on the clock. It idles sooooo much better now. I unhooked a vacuum line and slowly lowered the line into the Sea Foam bottle for about 2/3 of the bottle. Then I fully submerged the line in the bottle until the car died. Then, I dumped the last bit into the fuel tank. I waited about 10-15 minutes and drove the car hard. It smoked like a damn chimney. I don't know if this is the best way to do it but it worked wonders for me.

i used some in my neon, but i didnt notice any real difference. then again, it was more of a preventative measure. i just wanted to clean and lube the engine and fuel system.

i put some down the throttle body, in the gas tank and in the oil. and yeah, itll smoke for a little bit after you do it, but thats normal. once it burns off it will stop. i didnt notice any real positive effect, but it definitely didnt hurt anything either.

I would recommend changing your oil after you do that. I've heard it's a good idea from many people.
