Has anyone ever had this nitrous kit installed in their Accord?
How reliable these nitrous kits are? I've heard pretty bad things about them, but you know one said this another said that and no really had it on their car. At least Zex company claims that their product is pretty reliable, but I wanna hear what you guys think?

But still the price, in my opinion is what motivates people to run nitrous on their cars, and then... the price might grow much more if nitrous backfires or smth.
I just wonder is their such a thing as safe nitrous?

even if the nitrous doesnt backfire it still speeds up the wear and tear of your eng. so eventually its gonna end up taking a shh...

Yeah, but superchargers, and turbochargers also speed up wear and tear of the engine, but somehow people aren't so scared of using them as suppose to nitrous.

well people also generally upgrade their engine internals when using forced induction as opposed to a nitrous kit where they just install it.

very true ... the problem is that most people just slap on the bottle because its a cheap hp gain ... and think they can rock-n-roll ...

Nitrous is great. Instant power when you need it. But you have to be careful with it.
Most cars can handle smaller shots (20-50hp) with just a spark plug and timing change. If you plan to go with a higher shot, you need to add more fuel, less timing, even a dyno tune to maximize your combo.
You can't expect a car that makes 140hp to take the stress of another 50-100 hp like it was nothing. Nitrous isn't gradual -its instant. Thats why pistons burn, parts break , and motors blow.
but you can't beat the hp-per-dollar a nitrous sytem can add.
