Auto Trans Fluid
I brought my car to the shop to have my auto trans fluid flushed. The mechanic said that I should bring back the car to have another flush in about 1 or 2 months. Is this necessary?

Re: Auto Trans Fluid (andyk)
Unless it's power flushed, yes, the basic proceedure is to drain/refill/drive and then drain/refill/drive again. That will get most of the crud out. BTW, I sure hope your shop is usung Honda ATF or an exact equivalent.

Re: Auto Trans Fluid (Crono139)
Hi
They didn't use Honda ATF because probably they don't carry those. I think they use Castrol. Will that be a problem? I'm not sure if they are exact specification.
Thanks for any advice.
