Sorry not everyone is uber 1337 smartie pants like you. Some people (like the OP) have very simple questions that require a very simple answer, despite being common knowledge among others.

How does common sense play into it? So the F22C can't go in an Accord, but an H22 can, by common sense? And of course you provide no contribution to the thread other than a snippy little comment to serve your own ego. This is why I love H-T

No, he shouldn't be banned, there's no reason to, granted a simple search would probably provide about 20 other topics where the same question was asked - but those people haven't been banned either. The thread should have been left alone after my post and his response

Wait a second, are you telling me a guy with 48 posts can't pick a fight with a guy with 3 posts and get the guy with 3 posts Banned?
This is crazy! What happened to the great hierarchy system that allowed someone to become more of a smartass the more posts he got? What is happening to the world?

S2K a 'roadster' type car, common sense would tell you that it's rwd. H22, typical honda, most likely FWD... common sense.
Which way makes the most sense for the crank to turn in the F22C? Common sense.
Google.com OMG... common sense.
so stfu, unless you contribute something keep your snippy little ricer fingers off the keyboard.

hmm, well, in the defense of the OP, you do realize that although the sr20det is common place in the RWD swap for 240sx's, people are swapping them into sentra's AND the sentra se-r comes stock w/ the non turbo version of that engine. so i can see where he might've thought that the F series engines might be the same.

alot of 'roadster' type cars have mid mounted motors, so that made that invalid real quick.
i'm sure you didnt come out of the womb knowing all there is to know about hondas, and I am sure you still ask questions here and there. let the guy ask his question and we can spread some knowledge to him. dont be the typical honda-tech *******. please.

I'm not bagging on him for asking questions, I'm calling the other guy a dipshit for being a hypocrite. Ask questions, that's how you learn, but you won't learn anything if you don't get out there and look for answers yourself, because it usually leads to more questions. If you can google something... then why make a post?
And I can think of more than a few FR Roadsters.

ya...the F is just the series, and the 22 is just 2.2 L. They are just part of the same engine series with the same amount of displacement. And ya the S2000 is RWD and the Accord is FWD....so no.

the SR20DET and the SR20DE are not even the same engines!!! SR20DE>FWD SR20DET>RWD, they just happen to be the same engine series, displacement, valve train, fuel delivery, and forced induction. Even though the DE doesn't have a forced induction. So don't say people are swapping DETs into Sentras, "the sr20det is common place in the RWD swap for 240sx's, people are swapping them into sentra's", As you said above. THAT'S WRONG!!!!

Obviously he's done some research if he's looking into buying a stroker kit for the motor. I don't see how it's so far fetched to think that the two F22's might be the same motor. The SR20s have different blocks I'm guessing but internally are the same motors, it's not at all unreasonable to think the F22's might be the same deal. But w/e

correct me if I'm wrong, but doesnt the f22c even spin the opposite direction from the f22a's...
And why do people have to be a bunch of **** on the internet?? He asked a question, the next guy answered his question.... it shoulda been over at that....if you just wanna be mean to people, make your own thread. We were all newb's at one point.

That doesnt mean **** about engine internals. It may have to do with the rotation of the crank, the placement of the transmission bell, and if the engine is mounted transeversely or not, but that's about it.
The crank of the S2k motor can be interchanged with a TSX motor. DOes that mean the TSX is RWD? Or the S2k is FWD?
The CR-V is a real time AWD car...does that mean people arent putting the B20's in Civics and Tegs?
