Post F22B w/ AT swap to H23A w/ MT questions

i have a 96 accord lx with an automatic transmission that im thinking of changing to a h22a or h23a with a manual transmission. i have experience with swaps, i have a 93 del sol si that i swapped in a 96 jdm itr b18c so engine swaps are not new to me. however, i have never done an auto to manual conversion nor have i put a vtec motor into a non vtec car. so this is where im gonna need some help. as far as i know the vtec part is no big deal. correct me if im wrong but i think all that needs to be done is run wires from the ecu to the vtec solenoid and oil pressure sensor(if usdm.) so i have 2 questions as of now.

#1: h22a or h23a??? - the h23 has more torque, more horse power, higher redline, and is less expensive than the h22a. WHY IS THIS? if its bigger, more powerful and less expensive then why doesnt everyone use this engine over the h22. i have a feeling there must be a reason for this. any input on this topic would be useful.

#2: what parts am i going to need if im swapping a jdm h series engine with a manual tranny into a usdm non vtec accord with an auto tranny. i have a list in my head but want to make sure im not overlooking anything. also what is the weight comparison of the f22 to the h22 or h23? will i need to change the front coils? any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks
