emissions failed too much CO2 any tips?
my car failed the co2 test and i was jus wondering if anyone could help me fix the problem.

you gonna have to loook into your fuel system. You are maybe running too rich. Check your cat. it might not be workin. Tap it and it you hear something pinging then replace it. Or you can check it with a pyrometer and the outlet of the cat should be 10% hotter than the inlet side of it. If it isn't then replace it.
You are gonna have to check a lot of valves and sensors dealing with air/fuel mixture.

I have an obx high flow cat and it passed after I rebuilt my f22 engine and put my whole exhaust on 2 years ago...should i replace the cat still?

Incorrect.
First off, Co is increased with temp, which is associated with running lean. However this usuially causes NOX to increase aswell. running rich will foul the cat and the HC will go up.
1) check that your o2 sensor(s) are switching properly. You would have to take the car to a shop to do that unless you have a graphing multimeter or an oscilloscope at your disposal.
2) check the EGR ports to make sure that they are clear and not leaning out one or 2 cylinders.
3) Does your car have a cel?
ETA: The exhaust only gets cooler as it gets closer to the tip, so it wouldent be 10% hotter AFTER the cat. Secondly, there is no specific percentage of temp drop through the cat. There is however a minimum temperature for the catalyst inside the cat to reach before it ignites and starts to do its job. That is why a car needs to be hot to be properly tested.

yea try having a 2nd opinion if ur doubtful, call the referee to test it for u...general smog test.

WE FAILED EMISSIONS AND REPLACED THE RADIATOR AS IT WAS NOT HOLDING PRESSURE AND CAUSING ENGINE TO RUN TOO HOT...IT MAY BE AS SIMPLE AS THE RADIATOR CAP NOT HOLDING PRESSURE..THEY CAN BE TESTED AT PARTS STORE OR JUST REPLACE FOR 7 BUCKS... JIM

reeeeally the radiator cap? mine was leaking a little bit because it was overfull when i got it but i think it stopped now, anyway my o2 sensor wires are cut and dangling so the check engine light is still on but where did you get that radiator cap? i tried the ones at auto zone and they don't fit mine
