crankshaft seal popping out
So I removed my front cover to install my balance shaft and crank oil seals. When I went to screw in the front cover the crank seal pops out am I missing something when installing the new seals?

Re: crankshaft seal popping out
wait wait whut!?
you mean timing belt cover or oil pump cover?
If it's the oil pump cover, in wich you would have already installed the seals prior to putting it back in place, did you apply a light coat of grease on the crankshaft and seal lip? It might help...

From Helms;
Apply grease to the lips of the crankshaft oil seal
and the balancer shaft seal. Then, install the oil
pump inner rotor onto the crankshaft. When the
pump is in place, clean any excess grease off the
crankshaft and the balancer shaft, then check
that the oil seal lips are not distorted.
