Correct part # for Oil Cooler Water Pipe
Hi. I am trying to install an OEM H23 prelude oil cooler for my accord but I can't find the water hose part. They don't list it on the Honda catalog.
This is the kind of part I need, it has the extra passage on the low right side. Even the Honda site lists this part as 19505-PT3-A00 in the Prelude S diagram:
It also lists this which is for my 91' Accord as the exact same part number, 19505-PT3-A00:
I even ordered this part from a company on Ebay and I asked for pics and it was the exact same part I have on my car. I don't know where I can find this part number.

Re: Correct part # for Oil Cooler Water Pipe
I will explain this for you easier with diagrams straight from the Honda dealership,
This is for the F22a which I already have, notice the cylinder head.
This is for the Prelude "S" 1992 model. It is supposed to have the F22a cylinder head however this is not for an F22a this is for an H23 woth DOHC,
The water pipe for both of those diagrams is 19505-PT3-A00. So I have no idea where I can find the actual part I'm looking for. The diagram is misleading and the part numbers don't help either.
I tried looking for an EX Accord water pipe on the Honda dealership site but they also only had the 19505-PT3-A00 part. I thought that they would have the one for the oil cooler but they didn't. Maybe you can find it but I can't.

That's a P14 part and its for an H23... it won't fit the F22a block I have the H23 water pipe and a spare block and I already tested it.

Only the 90-91 ex wagon and 92-93 ex and se have the oil cooler. Just look at those cars for oil cooler parts. It will be there somewhere.

I guess i'm going to have to modify one with the coolant passage or find a junkyard water pipe. Thanks for the info though, are you sure that is all of the models the cooler came with?
Thanks for trying.

Water Pipe for auto - 19505-PT2-000
Water Pipe for m/t - 19505-PT3-A00
Water Tap for block - 11107-PT2-000
Hose A for cooler - 19521-PT2-000
Hose B for cooler - 19522-PT2-000
Both of those engines used the same cooler, so you should be good to go there.

Neither of those 2 water pipes have the extra water passage for the oil cooler...

Oh, I see what you mean! 19505-PT3-A00 listed for everything! hmmm....
Maybe the A/T # will work? Strange. I see why you are frustrated.

Re: Correct part # for Oil Cooler Water Pipe
The auto one has a PT2 number. A 91 is showing to use the PT3 number, auto or m/t. If the pipe you have on it now is original, it is supposed to be a PT3.
The one listed for an auto is the one you need.

Re: Correct part # for Oil Cooler Water Pipe
Wow nobody can find the right part number? Oh well. I am considering ditching the whole thing anyways. What would you guys rather do, install it on your car or sell it? Is it even worth it? I am talking about the OEM oil cooler. I could weld a coolant passage onto my original water pipe but I don't really wanna do that.
What's a going price for an OEM oil cooler anyways? I have the nipple that goes on the block, the coolant hoses., basically everything. I even have two 20 mm nuts to remove the original oil filter stud. All I need is the correct water pipe.
Weld or sell?
