Car shuts off while driving
Hey guys
I had a quick question... Either my car has a mind of it's own or something
Well here's what happened, I was driving and suddenly my car dies out completely and when I start it, it doesn't start.
I changed the battery.
Could it be a bad ground somewhere causing the car to do that?
What else could it be that will cause that issue.
Appreciate your help.

Well, I can olny assume this is some stock Accord between 90 and 03.
Start with checking for 12v on the BLK/YEL wire at the dist with the key in the on position?

could you at least give us the year and model of your car? does the engine crank? does the fuel pump prime? (IE check engine light for the first 2.5 seconds of key on.) with this info it would be a lot easier to pinpoint the problem

Ignition switch harness is burned up at the contact area connected to the other end of the ignition cylinder. I don`t think people realize how many amps are going through it for so many years...the contacts are worn.
No other troubleshooting needed besides the OP removing the steering column cover, unscrewing the 2 screws from the ignition switch harness and looking at the contacts...
