Car is leaking oil..
1994 Accord. The leak was not a major issue when I bought the car (maybe a couple of drops in a couple of days) , however It has slowly progressed and is now 2 to 3 drops a day. I looked underneath the vehicle and I don't think its coming from the pan itself. I could be wrong. My question is this is a problem with these cars, if so where does the leak come from? Thanks.

The distributor o-ring is a very common leak on pretty much all overhead cam motors. What creates a more serious issue is if it leaks long enough it will degrade the heater hose beneath it until it softens up enough to blow out.

Re: Car is leaking oil..
The oil pressure switch is a common point to leak. It's next to the oil filter. There are 3 seals behind the timing belt cover (crank, cam, balancer shaft) as well. If the leak is originating on the driver's side you might look there. I had a leak at the distributor... the heater hose blew a few years after fixing the leak. I'd also eliminate the valve cover gasket since that's easy to do. Pay attention to where the cover has cutouts for the camshaft.

Jollyhonda/performancefirst come to think about it, I did have to change out my heater hose a couple of months back. However, I was having overheating issues at the time so I guess I got sidetracked for the moment. I will have a look at that this morning. Thanks.

So I got under the hood an snapped a few pics. I looked and low and behold the hose is starting to get covered again. Sorry for all the weird angles. Sorry forgot to mention that I actually asked a question in the first pic.

Yeah, the o-ring is on the distributor shaft where it enters the head. There's another seal inside the distributor too. If oil is getting inside it, that's your problem. There is a writeup in the FAQ on how to tackle that one.
