Car keeps dying
I have a 1999 Honda Accord EX 4 cylinder. Last week it started running rough, and would die as I row to a stop sign/red light with the clutch in. We have replaced the distributor cap and rotor, and it ran pretty good. Then it started doing it again. What else should I check? Maybe battery or alternator?

I actually see this quite a lot and I don't think I've ever really seen a common denominator on this except for cars with an iacv with an iacv screen that you can clean out. I don't believe yours has the screen.
Can you do this...can you drive to a safe spot and try slowing down to a stop with the clutch in with the brake pedal pressed in..and try it again with the clutch in but without the brake on and see if there is a change ....i want to know if it does it with the brake not pressed in.

I have had the same problem for 2 weeks! I took out my EGR and it was stuck open. It would cause misfire codes to pop up. I cleaned out the EGR and it runs perfect!!

Did you do the drive test ?
Also, see if it does it with the headlights on. I'm curious if it stops doing it with your headlights on.
I'm wondering if this is ELD related.

Re: Car keeps dying
It cranks, but won't start up. I took each spark plug out and they have fuel on em. Also checked on the pistons and there is fuel on them. We checked the ignition coil and the readings where a little high. I think it's the dizzy, we are going to try a distributor off of another accord, and see if it works.
