Bypass Inlet Hose

Bypass Inlet Hose
1991 Honda Accord EX-R
2.2-litre four-cylinder
4-door
I had a leaking Bypass Inlet Hose (or Heater Bypass Hose) and bought one online. When I put it on I found the hose kinked. I wasn't comfortable about the kink so I assumed I was sent the wrong hose and returned it. But the same thing happens with the second hose. So I returned it and ordered a hose directly from Honda.
When the hose came I again have exactly the same problem.
Those hose should be a 5/8" hose and 14" long.. all of the hoses were exactly that size.
The original hose had no kinks.
My question, is the kink going to cause a problem? Or, what I was thinking, since all the hoses I ordered, kink, can I just buy a length of 5/8" heater hose and use it. I think a piece about 16 - 17" would be enough not to kink.
I included a picture of the hose to show where the kink is.

Re: Bypass Inlet Hose
Don't know the car, trim, engine, ect this hose is going on....
A "kinked" hose is not good but better than one that leaks.
If it is "kinking"....it sounds like one or both ends are "too far" on the connector(s)
