Default brakes - pads and rotors

So i need to replace the brakes on my 96 accord ex. Im gonna get brembo rotors (solid, not slotted or crossdrilled or any of that). Does anyone know a good place online to get them for cheap. Also, for the pads, i'm stickin with oem, but im not sure what particular brand. I've bought a lot of small parts from Napa, but i'm not buying their beck/arnley or wagner pads. I want some hard street pads that do the job without puttin a huge dent in my pocket. I dont plan on puttin this car out on the track, at least not anytime soon, so i dont need the best of the best. suggestions/comments?

I have a '92 Accord LX with rear drum brakes and was wondering if i can take the rear disc from a '92 Accord EX and put it on mine. Basically with the whole mount. My real question is about the brake lines since i would need to somehow convert them to bolt onto calipers instead of wheel cylinders. Also i'm pretty sure i would need to change the master cylinder to accomodate the bigger shaft needed to operate 4 calipers instead of the two it was designed for. Would i also need to change the brake booster with that?? I have knowledge about cars so i am able to understand stuff better, but any help would be appreciated. If anyone has already done this and has a thread running for it please link me to it. Thanks again.

Did you ever get an answer to your question? I'm wanting to do the same thing only on a '93 LX. I haven't found anyone that has an answer yet. I asking because i've bought 17's and the look just isn't right w/small drums peeking through!

yes i did..thanks to MR. P. Adams..here u go...

P_Adams: Brake booster will remain the same. I'm not sure if you're going to need the rear hub/link from the EX for the caliper mount provision. This may help
But the Rear Discs are in! and here's how it went.

You can use the parts from ANY accord 90-97 that has rear discs. Including v6, they are the same too.
You need the softlines, calipers assemblies, parking brake lines, discs and pads, pad retainers, and knuckle.
Basically everything from the knuckle out, and the parking brake lines. The trailing arms are the same. The UCA appeared to be the same too.

Just unbolt everything and take it off. You will have to undo the PB cables from the handle inside the car, and lower or remove some of the exhaust piping and/or muffler to get the PB cables out from underneath. Run the new cables the same way, they bolt in exactly the way the old ones came out.

The new knuckle/caliper/disc assembly should bolt right up to the shock and rear trailing arm. You can use all nuts and bolts that were originally on the drum set-up; I read one guy mention that the long bolt that connects the lower control arms around the knuckle was too short to reuse from the drum set-up, but they were the same when I compared the two

i wanna kno how far the softlines have to go and how to hook them up...

thanks....SHO
