Default axle question from auto to manual

when i'm doing this swap... would i have to get a manual's axle on the passanger side?

auto and manual passenger side axle is the same. The driver side axle is different though. Remember that you need to the halfshaft, which is the piece between both axles.

they are actually different. get another one because the manual one is a bit longer

i just changed my axles and the auto and manual shafts had different part numbers when i went to get them. but i think the passenger side is the same... dunno for sure. find someone with a manual and pop the sucker out lol. should take all of 30mins at most.

hmm.. confused... i don't know anyone around my area with a 93 accord with a 5spd tranny...
i'm thinking the driver side is the same and the passanger i would have to change... anyone else's imput?

driver side is for sure different, autos have a longer axle. Manuals have a smaller one...

Yup, its true, the driver side and the half shaft needs to be swapped out.

the drivers side u willl definitely need to swap, along with the intemediate shaft for it, but on the pass side, the auto axle will fit fine and work fine, though they are definitely different from the manual axle. They have differnt inner cv joint bearings, not really sure why, but thats the only difference i saw when taking them apart.

Best thing to do is give them a call every now and then for those hard to find parts.
