Default air/fuel question....

i have an accord lx with basic i/h/e i put an air fuel gauge on it and it reads lean all the time.....i put an safc on it and semi tuned it it ran a lot better and still the gauge didnt pass the lean area of the guage.....any suggestions or input? the car has no check engine light and everything workd fine besides the tranny.....

Is it a wideband gauge hooked up to a wideband O2 sensor? If it is what brand, Innovate Motorsports, PLX, AEM.....?

If it's just one of those autometer AFR gauges hooked into your stock narrow band O2 you won't see anything other than lean or rich. And there is no way to tune using it. Those narrow band gauges are junk, nothing but a light show...if they work at all that is.
