Default AEM Intake - Check Engine Light Came On

Help!

Just had an AEM Cold Air Intake installed in my 01 Accord V6. Took it for a spin shortly after and my TCS & Check Engine Light Came on, and the RPM gauge is topping out at about 3500 RPM's (almost like there is a limiter on it???) Anyone ever experience this, or have any ideas where to start...I am thinking about going right to Honda and getting it diagonsed...

Or your ECU isnt componsating for the gained air intake. Just pull off your Neg battery cable for a minute and reattach it.

That should reset it. If it stays off, youre good.

The car is limiting itself by topping off at 3500 rpms by doing so its running in a "limp" or safe mode forgot the technical term. Basically its limiting you from blowing your motor in any case.

Thanks for the tips everyone!!!

I have tried just about everything and I am now taking it to Honda to have them look at it...hopefully its nothing major, even after having the computer reset it runs fine for about 5 or so minutes at normal "legal" speed, but when I try and open it up a bit (80-100kms) it cuts out again...and the rpms top out at 3500ish. So frustrating!! if anyone is curious i will post what was actually wrong after its fixed!
