Default AC in h22 accord

dunno bout everyone else but i need my ac in my car... i was getting my ac charged at my mechanic's and we realized that the ac clutch wasn't engaging... we bypassed the relay and when the condensor would turn, the engine lost alot of power and we even got it to stall... was just curious if the ac wire that goes to the ecu is different between the f22 and h22 ecu.. if anyone has any clue's i'd appreciate it..

thanks

Man, I just joined this board to ask the same question... Well, similar. I haven't gotten my swap yet, but I was wondering about AC in my 92 accord after I drop the H22 in. If I find an answer, I'll be sure to let you know!

In a normal car, when you turn the AC on, does the ecu not compensate for the additional load placed on the engine? In your car it isnt doing it becausae the ECU does not knwo the AC has been turned on.

Find out how to trip the ECU into realizing that the compressor is activated and then wire it into a DPST relay. Wire the AC compressor to the other pole on the relay. Wire the power to the relay to the AC switch. Pull power out of the AC compressor side to another relay and wire that to switch the fans on.

or just get a helms for the prelude wiring harness and trace those wires down.

for ac in a 4th gen use the accord compressor, bracket, and line. Just replace the h22 ac bracket and compressor with the accord stuff. I no nothing about the ecu compensating for when the ac is on, i have never heard this.
