AC doesn't work, Heat Does
So, I have a 94 Accord LX and my AC doesn't blow cold air anymore, but the heater works JUST fine. My friend says that I could stop buy an Auto Parts store and get some "coolant" or something that is like $45 and you insert it into a pipe in the engine bay and pump it in, while the AC is running and it will restore your AC to working condition.
He did that to his 97 neon and it worked for him...

Your system might have a leak or you are low on freon. You might want to try this one

It will recharge it and if it has a leak there is an UV light so you could see the leak. I have never use it myself but I will be using something similar.

Yes. Test your freon pressure first. If it's low, you can add more. There are two kinds. One is R-12, and is discontinued. The other is R-134a, and it's standard. You need to make sure your car already uses R-134a before you put any in. You can't mix the two.
If the freon is okay, though, it means you have bigger problems and your compressor isn't working.
Also, freon is a refrigerant. Not a coolant. Coolant is the green liquid stuff that goes in the radiator.

Is your A/C compressor clutch engaging when the A/C button is pressed? If that compressor clutch does not engage you have to figure out this problem first.

It should say which one under the hood if I am not mistaken.
It should be
94-up R-134
93-down R-12

Do you have a check engine light? The ones in the can are a way to make sure your AC isn't going to work as goodas if someone actually pulls a vac on the system to remove air from the system.
