99 accord ac not working correctly
hello my father has a 99 accord when he cuts the ac on the head button it only blows near his feet and not the center vents only the side vents. when u have it on head and feet only blows out at feet and side vents. what can i do to fix this

First what modle acd next you will need FSM fir this one get read it and follow the steps listed. this may be a real PITA. But if I had to make SWAG it is the mode door moter or wireing

oh, and to remove the control, you pop the clock out, there is a screw behind it, there is 2 more screws at the bottom of the radio trim. After you remove all 3 screws take the trim off.
This thread should be titled, Blower Controls not working. This is not an AC problem, title is misleading.
AFAIK, the side vents will always blow in all settings as long as the physical vent is open
You tried it on the floor and vent setting and you only feel is on the feet. What happens when you try the defrost setting, will it blow up by the front window ?
Are the LED indicators lit up and do they toggle when the buttons are pressed. If not the AC control is dead.
If the LED indicators are working normal, then go back and try the defrost mode and feel by the front window, the door motor may be an issue like joec44 said

ok thanks, true i should have had a better title. yes when it is on feet only it blows on feet. when you have on defrost it seems to work. how much do the door motors go for? thanks all for your help
