Default Heater matrix loom difference between 99 ek9 and 99 ek9-race spec

Hi all,

I'm collecting all the parts to swap my 99 EM1 single din central bezel, to double din (im in the UK by the way).

The question I have is that I now have 95% of the parts, but I have just realised he heater matrix and blower I have came from an 99 EK9-R (so grey dash lightweight model)... as a result, it did not have air con. I've already noticed that the blower I have doesnt have the "high relay" (but I'm hoping that there is no reason I cant use my current one), but I'm not sure if now the loom attateched to my replacement heater matrix, is wired for A/C if i wanted to keep it?

Anyone know at all?

Thanks
Grangey

The plugs for AC are the same 96-00, so I would drop the glove box take a look at the heater suitcase portion of the car with AC and then see if those plugs are on the ek9 harness. AC portion of the "heater matrix" is the middle one and if I remember right there are only two plugs for AC.
