98 Accord (6gen) headlight and front bumper removal
I cannot sem to find the posts regarding the replacement/repair of front headlight for 6gen 4dr sedan accord. I know I have to remove the front bumper to remove the headlight.
Can anyone post steps on how to remove and re-install fron headlight for 4dr sedan, 1998 accord.
Thanks

to remove your bumper and headlights, here's how you do it..
there are 6 plastic retainers on the bottom of the bumper and 2 on top.. the red circles indicates their locations.. get a small flat head screwdriver and pop out the locking pin in the middle of the retainer.. you don't have to take out the pin completely out..
Next, there is one 8mm bolt that you'll need to remove on each side (yellow circle), and one 10mm bolt on each side (green circle)
once you're done removing all the bolts and retainers, pull the edge of the bumper down and out toward you to get it off the stub. do it on both sides.
finally, go to the center of the bumper, grab the grill, push it in toward the rear of the car, pull upward, and pull it out toward the front.. there's a small clip holding it in place..
you should be able to figure out the headlights for yourself.. there's a few bolts holding it in place on the top and sides. you should be able to see all of them..
...reverse process to put everything back...

Re: 98 Accord (syclone)
Its pretty easy operation. I have taken mine off like 5 times. There are the two 8mm bolts in the finder well, and 4 10mm holding the light in.

Is this all I need to remove to replace the light bulb? or do i have to remove the entire front bumper as well?
my bulb on the driver's side has burned out.

Re: 98 Accord (ladius)
you don't need to remove anything to change a bulb...
low and high beams can be changed from the engine bay, as well as the small parking light.
turn signal bulb can be changed by pulling the fender well back (remove 1 or 2 snap-in clips) and reaching forward through there...

Re: 98 Accord (Caveman74)
Ok so installed new headlights, only problem they dont seem to fit exactly right.
Is there any wey i can adjust the lights w/ out taking the bumper off?
There seems to be a little gap above the left light, it sits too low....which also lobsides the bumper a little.
