Loud exhaust I love, Nevada doesn't pay attention
To loud my gmc 4x4 4.3 liter has a 3" exhaust
my motorcycle has 2.5" straight pipes
I know you don't like ebay, but I do so Don't
start, were in the wild west of usa
I paid about $350 for it the header & down
Pipe & cat. I bought here in town from a
shop

When did I ever say that I don't like ebay... I love ebay, purchase a lot of OEM parts from there. Hell I probably buy from ebay at least once a week. If it weren't for ebay I wouldn't have half the parts for my 83 Suzuki GS. Parts are hard to find here in North America. Mostly Europe, Australia and Japan. Ebay rocks for that kind of stuff.
What I hate is cheap Chinese knock offs that people try to pass off as quality parts! If you are good with the cheap loud stuff..... fill your boots. I like loud as well. Just wanted to give you the heads up to what it sounds like.
You have to post feedback once you have it up and running.

Sorry I just saw some posts that it sounded
like you were bagging on ebay.
One of my favorite sayings is: Loud pipes
save lives

I think what you see is the result of me hanging out on these forums too much.... The older these cars get the younger the people are that buy them. Therefore, there is an influx of younger members who don't have the money to buy OEM or quality aftermarket parts. All they can to do is buy cheap stuff from "online". Then they come on here and wonder why something doesn't quite fit or work properly.
As for the loud pipes.... I hear ya!
I have a 4-1 equal length header with 2.5" pipe from the header collector all the way back to a Magnaflow turbo muffler with a 3" tip. On my 5/spd, I4 2.0L Mazda Tribute..... Throw in a set of stage 2 CompCams and she lopes at idle pretty good. I'm sure the neighbours loved me when I was leaving for work at 4:30am.....wake up call! It's a head turner when I start it up. People are looking for a rice rocket, they never suspect an SUV......

No smog checks here.... I live in next to a city with two thermal generating stations, two paper mills and is home to the largest refinery in Canada. I will laugh in their face the day they try to hook my car up for a smog test. The air going into my engine probably wouldn't pass the test.....lol
