2 issues. Power surging and water dripping on feet
1997 Accord SE Coupe.
1. Main issue (my wife is giving me a hard time and wants me to buy a new car because of this) When I start the car its running fine, I can leave my driveway or parking lot but within one minute of actual driving (ideling doesn't seem to matter) the car tries to stall and stutter(only sometimes, worse when its cold). You hit the gas and the rpms actually drop, and feels / sounds like it really wants to backfire. Sometimes the CheckEngine light comes on. I put the car in neutral, turn it off (while rolling) turn it back on and drive on like nothing ever happened. it has never happened at any other time during the drive just at the beginning and almost always at the same exact point in time (using parking lot / road references). It has been going on now since last winter and I just havn' t had the time to drop it off at the dealership (they said that without the checkengine light being on it would take lots of time and money to find out whats wrong.
I honestly think its a sensor going bad or the computer is going nuts and causing the problem but I don't know. Anyone know of anything like this?
2. Ice cold water dripping on my feet when I am wearing sandles. this happens on both sides of the car while driving w/ the AC on. When I turn a turn it sounds like water is moving underneath the dash. Any ideas?

Thanks all

Re: 2 issues. Power surging and water dripping on feet (barry)
No clue about the rpms dropping.....maybe its a timing problem but best bet is to go to the dealer and get the computer to check it. With the water, Ive known Hondas and Acuras have a filter that is located on either side of the front just underneath the dash. This holds a filter for when air does come in from the outside, it might be that its clogged up and everything is backing up and what not. Ive seen tons of leaves in this filter box when I worked for Acura.

Check your codes. Check your plugs. Otherwise probably Fuel pump (check main relay), filter (change every 30k), injectors (clogged?).
As far as the water dripping, take out the glove box and look behind it. You will find a plastic evap container. It probably is full of water.. reach behind it towards the firewall and you will feel a rubber hose that leads into the firewall. This is the drain. Hook up a wet-dry vac to that little hose and suck out all the crap that is clogging it up. That will get rid of the in-cabin-waterfall. Or pay honda lots of money to do the same thing. Your car does not have a cabin air filter. 6 gen does.

The water dripping on feet and swishing problem are signs of a blocked AC condensation drain hose. You'll need to get under the car and locate this hose protruding on the passenger side and blow air into it or use a wire to try to clear the obstruction.
The idle issue sounds like the IAC (Idle Air Control), its probably sticking. The one on my truck does the same thing in the cold weather its worse, and only acts up for a short while a few miles from the house. Its expensive, so try a salvage yard for a replacement. Its not difficult to replace.

Re: 2 issues. Power surging and water dripping on feet (barry)
I took it to autozone and they ran their computer on it. Supposedly I am not getting enough fuel to the injectors.
But why would it start working just as soon as I turn the car off and turn it back on? I don't even stop moving. That makes me think its a computer issue or a relay.
Thanks for the help with the water leaking issue. I am going to try that tonight.
Last question. Is it possible that the leaking water from the AC screwed up the computer underneath the glovebox?
