1998 Accord Overheat
I'm needing some help on this...my accord overheats whenever i turn on the AC and drive at slow speeds. However, when i'm on the highway while the AC is on, then the car does not overheat. I'm thinking it's the thermostat, but i'm not too sure, soo i'm asking if i could get any help.

Your A/C condenser fan may not be turning on. After the car is warmed up, idle the car, and turn on the A/C. Check to see that both fans are working. If not, it is either a bad fan motor, relay, fuses, or wiring. Check fuses first though.

Good answer, you can turn the AC on at anytime, even with a cold engine and both fans should come on together, you can hotwire the fan to see if it works, hence, bad relay or other wiring or fuse.
If both fans work then check the front of the condensor for lots of road kill and between the condensor and radiator too.
Of course the cooling system needs to be full of water/antifreeze.

i had the same problem with my 92 accord, i just put in a new radiator and thermostat, and the problem went away, granted there's a 6 year difference but the problem is still the same. and the ac in my car didn't work to begin with, plus it has the old R22 AC system

I just tested it a while ago...it looks like one of the fans isn't turning. Should i just replace it with a new fan? or see if it's bad wiring or bad fuse??

you can check your fan by external 12v supply or battery - multimeter can help you too.
also check your fan switch, fuse, bad/damaged wiring etc.
good of bad replace your thermostat..
make sure all your rad horses/clamp etc are good too. I wouldn't take any chance with cooling system.
if you loosing any rad fluid - then pressure test your cooling system. don't run until you fix your problem or else you'll have to spend lots of money...to replace the Head Gasket or whole engine.
