Default 1994 honda accord ex problems

i have a 94 2 door honda accord with the 2.2 liter vtec. i have no spark and no fuel, a buddy of mine was working on the fuel pump and got it to run. we got about 15 miles from where we were working on it and then it died. i havent gotten it to start since. my question is has anyone had the same issue or know how to fix this without sending it to a shop. i love this car dearly and dont want to get rid of it but im close to my breaking point of sending her to scrap.

When the key is turned to II(ON) do you hear an audible 'click' from the dash? You may want to verify your main relay is working. Common problem is the main relay solder joints crack and causes a no start condition.

Have you checked for any stored codes in the ECM?
Under glovebox door, two wire blue connector, pull it down, jumper with a wire/paperclip, turn ignition switch to II(ON) and watch the CEL for any codes.

If the car is an AT verify that the car is fully in Park before attempting to start.

Main relay is located between the center console and steering wheel in the dash.

That is how you check for codes.

replaced the main relay and it didnt change it, however i was using a test light on the fuses on the interrior fuse box, and i tested every one of them and they all lit up but when i got to the one for the fuel pump it would light up on one side of where the prong goes but not on the other, contemplating buying a new fuse box unless theres a way i could bypass that one fuse.....

its in the fuse box. no im not getting power to one side of the fuse, i found that out by using a test light to the fuse box, all the others light up when i touched however the one side of the fuse that runs the fuel pump it did not light up. if i cant just bypass that and run to a fuse i buy seperate than im going to just replace the box, but thats $75 that i aint got.

If you only have power to one side of the fuse it is most likely blown.
Replace it and recheck.

Fuses do not cost $75.

If one side of the fuse has power but the other side doesn't that obviously means the fuse is blown. Remove the fuse and look for yourself.

There are a couple of large fuses ~80A or so, that are bolted into the fuse box.
There is also the ELD(brown in color)that may or may not be bad, it is controlled by the ECM and will switch on/off. Usually when it goes bad you will get a trouble code for it. No need to replace the whole fuse box.

Now if your fuse box is damaged or has been melted from an overload then that is not really a fuse/fuse box problem but an over current issue.
